Those players new to the game of Online Craps, may find themselves a little disadvantaged if they are not familiar with Craps Terminology. There are quite a few terms that are unique to the game of craps that have significant meaning in the progression of the game. Those players who are unfamiliar with these terms may find themselves a bit lost. It is worth your time to familiarize yourself with these terms or phrases and their respective meanings.
Any Craps: This is a bet that the shooter will roll a 2, 3, or 12 on the upcoming roll. This bet normally pays 7:1 and the house edge is typically 11.1%.

Buy Bets: This is a bet where you can choose to wager on 4, 10, 5, 9, 6, and 8. If the number you bet on is rolled before a 7 comes up, you win. In a Buy Bet, you pay a 5% commission to the online casino. Some casinos collect the commission as soon as you place your bet, and some only collect on winning bets.
Bit 6 and Big 8: Here you are betting that the shooter will roll a 6 or an 8 before a 7 comes up. This is an even money bet payout, with the house edge staying at 9.1%. There is a tie for these bets if the come out roll is 12, and sometimes 2.
